About who needs care: My mother has been diagnosed with PSP. It's a neurological condition that effects her both physically & cognitively. She has much trouble with simple things like walking & moving. She also has delayed speech that is sometimes hard to understand. She doesn't do much on a daily basis as far as activity. About the care needs: We would like a caregiver who is patient & of course kind. Strong enough to help lift her from her chair (with safety belt). Able to help her in the restroom with dressing & undressing. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
