About who needs care: My mother-in-law lives on in our home. She has dementia. Shes very self sufficient, and really only needs light support and company. About the care needs: Very patient and calm. Willing to hell with some things related to remembering and dealing with a constant repeat of stories, remembering tasks and maybe helping her make a cup of tea or a snack. Help her go with walks with dog and play cards. Get music started or an audio book. Small talk, but mainly listening. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, and companionship.
