We are a veteran family seeking a dedicated, awake overnight caregiver for my parents in Matteson, IL. We are looking for someone who wants a stable, long-term position with a family that treats you with respect. The Role: Schedule: 7 nights a week available (We are open to hiring 2 people to split the week, or one person who wants 4-5 shifts). Dad: Needs monitoring for a sleep disorder (he acts out dreams). Your job is to keep him safe and gently redirect him. Mom: Bedbound with Lewy Body Dementia. Needs changing ~2 times per night. Note: She is in an electric hospital bed, but we do NOT have rails, so you must be experienced with "log rolling" and safe turning techniques. Environment: Quiet, clean home. Once duties are done, you can read or use Wi-Fi as long as you remain awake and alert. Must have experience with incontinence care
