I'm looking for a reliable, hands-on caregiver for my adult son in his 20s, who has developmental delays and epilepsy including drop seizures. He is very sweet and small adult-sized, about 80 lbs, and thrives with gentle, patient caregivers who offer real TLC. Daily tasks include helping him out of bed, assisting with toileting, preparing and feeding breakfast w/his seizure meds, dressing him, and driving him to his day program 10 miles away. Light housekeeping is helpful. He can walk, but strong safety awareness is essential due to his seizures. Experience with epilepsy, special needs, or ADLs is a plus, but we will train the right loving and dependable person. Must be a non-smoker, comfortable with pets, and very reliable. If you have a caring heart and enjoy working one-on-one with a special needs adult we'd love to hear from you.
