About who needs care: Elderly couple. Mom walks with a walker and can still do most things for herself personal care wise. Needs help with cleaning, carrying things, meal prep and medication reminders. Dad has liver failure and on home hospice due to liver cancer; no longer ambulatory; difficulty communicating due to illness; loves music and prayer. Wakes up around 11 a.m. & needs help with morning routine and freshening up, must be repositioned every 2 hours. Monitor oxygen and heartrate. Keep hydrated, provide meds as needed. About the care needs: Caribbean woman ideal due to cultural preferences. Family is from Trinidad. Should be Christian and have some experience with hospice care. Must love taking care of the elderly. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
