About the job
Our mom is 95 and walks herself in a wheelchair. We are looking for a person who will visit with her on a twice-weekly basis at her assisted living residence in East Cobb to keep her company, possibly occasionally take her out, keep her mentally engaged, etc. This can be accomplished by playing cards, doing simple crafts, watching a movie, taking a local trip to shop, reading to her, etc. The right person will be very proactive and patient, as we have found that on certain days she may push back in these situations, but once she is engaged, she enjoys the visit. The ideal companion will be someone experienced with seniors who will give her attention and make her feel cared for.
