Elderly Caregiver

About the job

Seeking a compassionate and reliable caregiver to assist my elderly grandfather on an as-needed basis. Most hours will be in the late afternoons and half-day or full-day shifts on weekends. My grandfather has pulmonary fibrosis and congestive heart failure, we are looking for someone experienced with chronic medical conditions and patient, attentive care. Primary Responsibilities: • Medication management • Preparing and serving meals (light cooking occasionally; many meals are pre-prepped) • Administering breathing treatments • Providing comfort care and assisting with his daily needs • Offering companionship and maintaining a calm, supportive environment Ideal Candidate: • Experience with elderly care or chronic respiratory/heart conditions • Dependable, patient, and kind • Comfortable working flexible/as-needed hours
