About the care needs: Qualifications & Professional Requirements: -CNA, LPN, or RN certification (depending on level of care needed); Specialized training in dementia / Alzheimers care; CPR / First Aid certified; Georgia background check and fingerprint clearance; Demonstrated experience with similar dementia-stage clients; Vaccination status (flu, COVID-19, TB test) Dementia-Specific Skills: Managing Sundowning, anxiety, agitation; Gentle redirection and de-escalation techniques; Communication strategies with cognitively impaired adults; Ability to track behavior changes and report patterns; Wandering prevention / safety monitoring Personality & Relationship Fit: Warm, patient, calm, and emotionally steady; Respectful and preserves dignity; Good communicator with family; Able to maintain structure and routine; Sense of humor, compassionate presence Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
