About the job
We are looking for someone to help care for our 23-year-old daughter in our home. She is severely ill with a complex medical condition. She has limited mobility. She also suffers from mental illness (severe anxiety, PTSD). The role entails: - Companionship - Getting her ready for appointments - Driving her to appointments - Help with organization & light cleaning - Occasional simple cooking - Help with personal care (showering) - Helping schedule appointments - Occasional help with dogs (golden retreivers) Ideal candidate: - Female - Close in age (ideally 25 or younger) - Extremely calm & patient - Comfortable dealing with hyper-emotionality We are generally looking for help M-F 9-3 but can be flexible on schedule. And there would be occasional additional opportunities to help on weekends or different hours if we travel.
