About who needs care: Grandma has dementia and can get confused or talk about things that are not real/havent happened. Struggles with driving, has lost weight, and in general is very lonely without much to do. About the care needs: Someone bubbly and kind, compassionate, patient, and a good listener. Willing to be like a close friend to my grandmother. Good in de-escalation and redirecting when she gets upset or confused. Able to drive her to appointments or grocery store as needed. Ensuring she takes her medication (we will sort pills into a daily container). Can cook basic meals. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, and companionship.
