About who needs care: Looking for care from 8pm-8 a.m. (overnight) for a gentleman in his 80s. In his younger years, he was a dedicated and accomplished businessman, windsurfer, and traveler. Currently, he loves spending time on his patio outside his apartment admiring his plants, and watching lifestyle videos about bears and camping! He is diabetic and has COPD About the care needs: We're looking for a calming presence for overnight care to help ease anxiety for the senior as well as his grown children that live in the metro Atlanta area. He needs someone with patience, compassion, and prior experience with CPA certification and general medical knowledge. Someone who has experience changing bandages as the senior does have a wound on his leg that needs care. Wound Care visits and changes the bandages twice a week but often times the bandage needs to be adjusted or replaced before Wound Care is scheduled to return. Light housekeeping, laundry, and assistance with hygiene will be needed as well. Services needed include: companionship, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
