About who needs care: I have Early Alzheimer's. Need help managing my medicine supplies and calendar, doing laundry, cleaning my bathroom, etc. I will be 70 in May '26. I have a more physical chronicillness, so I need help lifting and reaching, and short walks. About the care needs: He/she should meet me where I am.... meaning follow my lead. I have good days and bad. Don't correct me, unless I ask. Don't make me do something, if I don't want to. Have fun (with me) while you're here. Keep a positive, optimistic attitude. You should be specifically trained in dementia care. Dementia is soooo much more than memory loss. My hobbies involve arts and crafts. My ideal caregiver would do/be all of the above so he/she could help manage my online art store (Phylliscole@phylliscole. com). It needs some work, and can no longer do it. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
