I've moved dad out of assisted living and rented a beautiful apt . I believe he will get better care this way. Dad will be set up with a ring camera so if it bothers you I want to see my dad then please don't apply. I have someone there 24/7 working various shift hours. Dad uses a Sara steady to transfer since he can't stand up without it. Dad also has medication needs, meals all prepared by caregivers/ mechanical soft or puree. I did not employ caregivers that come to sleep- it's a job not nap time or the Hilton. You'll need to help provide companionship, games, laughter, movies, a safe upbeat environment.
