About who needs care: Stage 4 gall bladder cancer. Recovering from hip surgery for a fractured hip. Currently in a rehabilitation center, but will be going home soon. About the care needs: Willing to help take care of my Mom. Looking for someone who can help her as she recovers from her hip surgery as well as going through her chemo which she will be going on back on at the end of this month. She currently needs help getting out of bed from the surgery, as well as getting to the bathroom and would need help bathing and with meals, and care. She is progressing each day with the walking with a walker and the items mentioning above for getting out of bed and getting to the bathroom, but she isn't quite there yet. Looking for a kind, compassionate person. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
