About who needs care: I use a walker due to neuropathy causing me to have balance impairments. I need assistance in the shower primarily for safety and scrubbing my back. I love to laugh and enjoy interesting conversation. Ideally, my day would consist of my caregiver being here approximately 2 hours in the morning and 1 hour in the evening 7 days per week. I enjoy watching TV and movies, listening to music, walking outdoors attending community-based activities, and eating. About the care needs: Ideally I am looking for a person who likes to interact and is quite personable. I am not looking for a person who sits here on their phone throughout their time working. Hopefully the person will enjoy watching movies and TV but also be very supportive and empathetic related to my needs. They need to be dedicated to their profession and want to help people. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
