About who needs care: Tom is Very independent and high functioning young man with Down Syndrome. Tom is clean, and sociable, he can keep himself busy, make his own food, and can be quit fun. We occasionally need someone to watch-over him while we are at work. We are looking for a responsible adult to watch him at home, maybe make lunch with him, walk around the neighborhood, the pool, movies etc. About the care needs: Ideally a younger person. No special training, just someone Tom can hand out with, maybe go to a movie, or just talk about movies, comics, etc. Services needed include: companionship.
