About who needs care: Help my 77-year-old mother, who has Parkinson's, with daily chores and help her with her 87-year-old husband who is in later stages of dementia, doing mentally and/or physically stimulating activities with him, babysit, prepare lunch, drive him (and my mom) to dinners/ appointments, etc. About the care needs: Cleanliness and proper appearance. Not too chatty and not loud. Has the necessary sensitivity, finesse, training and experience to interact with and engage people with dementia. Ideally can travel and spend summers with my mom and step-dad in Massachusetts. Is flexible with hours / scheduling in the beginning. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
