About who needs care: Dementia- significant short term memory loss Imbalanced walking- uses a cane, has difficulty getting around quite a bit. Due to cause of dementia condition. Should not require assistance with toileting, dressing, or transitioning between even surfaces, however, condition is worsening, and could possibly need assistance with these. Typical day- eats 2/3 times per day based on hunger level, enjoys watching television shows/movies, doing quiet in seat activities such as word searches, memory puzzles, etc. and having conversation. About the care needs: -Prefer a male but that is not a must. -Individual caring for my father must be patient as he repeats himself. He may be resistant to assistance and may not remember assistance is coming, as it is usually myself or his lady friend. -Able to make simple meals. -Will spend time with my father doing quiet activities he enjoys. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, and mobility assistance.
