About the job

About who needs care: Luis is recovering from lung cancer treatment (chemotherapy and radiation). I need somebody who can look after him for a few hours while I am at work, be there in case he gets a bit worse (to call me), do some basic cooking, and drive/accompany him to his clinic visits (when needed). About the care needs: We would need a person with good social skills, Spanish speaker ideal although not required. The person might need to help him walk to the bathroom, but no need to bathe him. If the person could do some basic cooking (lunch), that would be great. Luis is not recovering from surgery, but he is coming from radiation and chemotherapy. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, and companionship.
