Looking for an individual, 2 HRS a day, 4 DAYS a week who can help care for a largely bed-bound thin 70-year-old man. Primary need is to change the dressing on an ugly large burn the leg and maintain cleanliness in the area, i. e. bed bath, and administer a PEG tube feeding (again, not at all difficult, not imperative) Visiting nurses will come 3 days a week, so coverage is required for 2 hours a day for 4 days. EXACT TIME OF VISIT CAN VARY. I am not sure exactly which days yet. Discharge from rehab is impossible until care is in place. You will have materials and instructions for the wound care. Eventually, other help with showering, transportation and other light duties would be helpful. Please ask if you have any questions. Located in the Three Gardens park, near I-84 in Southington.
