About who needs care: Uses a cane due to partial hip replacement last year. Has mild cognitive impairment and occasional incontinence. Mom needs assistance with personal hygiene. We had care for a bit but our care giver accepted a full-time opportunity and was no longer available for mom. She lovers her home and gardening though her engagement is increasingly passive. She moved in with my wife and I recently in Somers so we can keep her in-home as long as possible. About the care needs: Personality - outgoing, patience of a saint, and bubbly/happy demeanor. Experience providing personal care to patients who have cognitive impairment. We were doing 6 hours per week in 3 two hour sessions which allowed time for bathing and socialization. If the person likes camping, gardens, and dogs ... those would be great shared interests. Services needed include: bathing / dressing
