I am not a senior, but am in need of an evening care provider with experience in using a hoyer lift for safe transfers. Knowledge of Multiple Sclerosis (MS), safe transfer, moving and lifting techniques is preferred. I have multiple sclerosis, and I am looking for someone who can help me get ready for and into bed comfortably. I use a power wheelchair, and I am unable to ambulate lower half of my body. Safe, patient transfers are essential. I live with others and do not need overnight care. Person should be upbeat, patient and focused on providing care with dignity. CNA/OT student background, or prior experience is preferred. Ability to lift and move me safely is required. If interested more details will be provided.
