About the job
We are seeking a compassionate, dependable, & proactive caregiver. The ideal candidate is kind, respectful, and sensitive to their unique needs (our father is a Korean War Veteran with PTSD). They both have hearing difficulties. Qualifications: English speaker - both parents are hard of hearing; clear communication is essential; scent-free - no perfumes, colognes, or scented lotions due to sensitivity; self-starter - able to anticipate & take care of daily needs w/out constant direction; Duties: Personal Care & Errands: assist w/ bathing & walking, administer daily eye drops, Dunkin' Donuts coffee runs, food shopping & pick up medications from pharmacy, meal prep: cook, set table, & serve meal, clean up kitchen. Housekeeping: clean 1-1/2 bath, dust, vacuum, laundry, change sheets, mop kitchen & bathroom floors.
