About who needs care: Sciatica. Has had a pituitary tumor removed. Has lost a son. She is lonely and has no hobbies, doesn't know how to use her TVs, or cook or go online. Needs help daily, more than I can do as a friend. I think she calls the exterminator and the ambulance often, mostly wanting company. She has trouble with the working brain I think as she remembers some things but forgets things that should be simple. About the care needs: She needs care and understanding but literally seems to need 'help' every day with something. She says she has no one and is estranged from her only son that is left.. There are a couple nosy neighbors who sort of check in on her but she needs so much more. Main bedroom is downstairs and she really has trouble getting up the stairs so she is considering some kind of a stair lift. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, and companionship.
