My 83-year-old Mother has Lewy Body Dementia. My Father is her main caregiver. He is 85. The level of care she is needing is more the he can do each day. They lived in eastern Colorado for 20 years. We moved them into our home in Parker 10 months ago to help provide additional support. Duties include bathing, personal care, providing companionship, social interaction, help with exercise, reading, light house keeping, some meal preparation. They have one cat (Jake). CPR / first-aid trained preferred. In the past Mom enjoyed sewing, quilting, cooking, reading. None of these things she is able to do any longer. She is very aware of what is happening to her and struggles to accept help. We struggle to keep her hydration level good. Looking for a kind person with understanding and patience that can help engage Mom with dignity.
