I need a hands-on care provider with Alzheimer's / Dementia experience for my parents in their 70s. My dad has severe dementia and will be the bulk of the focus, but my mom has early dementia too. Responsibilities: light housekeeping, meal prep, prompting medication, help with my dad's bedtime routine (change clothes, bathroom, brush teeth), and companionship with my mom. Please have your own transportation. Preference is for a non-smoker and CPR / first-aid training. We treat caregivers like family so we want someone who treats my dad like family. Additional details: My father is in HopeWest hospice. His nurse comes 2x a week & a CNA comes 3x a week to bathe. We have a current caregiver 9-5 M-F who is amazing! We request a single weekday training with the daytime caregiver before starting weekends to help with the transition.
