About who needs care: Autistic female with limited speech. About the care needs: We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Personal Assistant to provide support and companionship to an adult with special needs in a home setting. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: -assisting with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming and personal hygiene -helping with meal preparation and light clean up after -accompanying in social and recreational activities and hobbies while providing companionship and emotional support Previous experience supporting individuals with special needs is a plus. Ideal candidate can physically support individual when having a meltdown. Requirements: -CPR and Firs Aid certified -Driver's license and personal transportation -Background check required Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
