Patient: Joel, 80 yo male with lewy body dementia Needs: Wake up, change diaper, bathroom, dress, shower 1x a week, light meal prep, lift to/from wheelchair from bed/couch. MUST BE ABLE TO LIFT 160lbs. Timing: ASAP for weekday AM. Ideally 9am-1 p.m. Not early risers. Things to note: His wife Denise (78 yo female) is in the home and self-sufficient. She suffers from osteoarthritis and is unable to consistently lift him or perform day-to-day tasks for Joel. They are both lovely people to be around and very warm and friendly. Joel loves to read the paper, watch sports, the news, true crime tv, game shows and court tv. He is surprisingly alert for being a dementia patient and always knows who his family is and remembers things well (for now). MUST HAVE RELIABLE TRANSPORTATION.
