Personal Attendant / Caregiver (Part-Time)

About the job

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated caregiver for our daughter with Cerebral Palsy. She is a joyful young woman who loves music, sensory play, and interacting with others. We are looking for someone one day per week (6-8 daytime hours), either Mon or Fri. Responsibilities: • Drive client to her daily outings using our ramp van. • Dressing, personal care, feeding. • Ability to move client in and out of wheelchair using a mobility aid (ceiling lift). Requirements: • Patience, compassion, attentiveness, trustworthiness and dependability. • A respectful, honest and kind disposition. • Licensed and insured driver. • Non-smoker. • Experience working with people with developmental disabilities or special needs is a plus. • Must sign on with our Home Healthcare agency for employment.
