About who needs care: CONDITIONS / CHALLENGES Balance/mobility issues (recently adapting to a walker) Recently suffered two minor strokes Being evaluated for signs of Parkinson's HOBBIES/INTERESTS Sculptor, Fine Artist, Bocce, Mountain Climbing (when younger) STRUCTURE Lives with my dad, who is in his late 80s - still mobile, but a little difficult to get around. He still works (as an architect) and needs his mornings free when he's at his sharpest. Trying to figure out a solution that helps ensure that she gets the support she needs in the morning while he is able to work. About the care needs: Someone warm and patient. She's nervous and doesn't like to make a fuss / be a bother, but is realizing how much support she needs. She appreciates silliness, so someone with a playful sense of humor would be good. No major skills beyond being comfortable helping her move around if needed, get to the bathroom, up/down stairs if need be, etc. We hadn't considered Transporation as a service at first, but if they could help her get to appointments, that would be useful as well! Services needed include: transportation, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
