About who needs care: My dad suffers from Parkinsons disease, which he has had for over 20 years now. He lives in an assisted living home who provide basic care and manage his medications for him. His medications help him stay mobile and independent but there are times they wear off before his next dose and he cannot do much for himself. He gets muscle spasms and weakness and cant move and needs someone to do little things for him to keep him comfortable. He also gets lonely and would love someone who can just chat with him. Im looking for someone who can visit a couple of hours once or twice a week to keep him company and do small tasks for him. About the care needs: Someone who is positive , patient, and dependable is all we really need. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
