About who needs care: My mom has Vascular Dementia. We walk her to the park (weather permitting). The park is just down the street where we lived. Serve breakfast and give medications. Cook/heat and serve lunch. Write one or two sentences on journal. play some games (like bingo). Take naps, 2 hours in the morning and 4 hours in the afternoon. About the care needs: Looking for someone that can work on call. 3 to 4 times a week most preferably in the morning from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Someone who understand a dementia patient. Need someone to take her for a walk at the park and play board/bingo games at home. Serve breakfast and lunch and give medication. Services needed include: companionship, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
