About who needs care: My mom is my fathers primary caregiver. He is 80 years old and has Parkinsons so he requires a lot of care. So my mom needs help cooking a late breakfast and lunch, going to the market to buy groceries (my mom would of course provide the cash), cleaning the kitchen after cooking and light cleaning around the house in between including laundry and taking out the trash. About the care needs: Not too chatty. Bilingual in Spanish. Spanish dominant speaker is fine. Good cook including Mexican dishes. Takes good direction. My mom likes things done in specific ways which she will instruct the person. Friendly demeanor who cares for seniors. Trustworthy. May need to help my mom lift my Dad from seated positions since he is heavy and sometimes requires help standing. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, and light housekeeping.
