About who needs care: My Mom is 92 and has dementia. She sleeps 14-16 hours a day and then is up for meals and sitting. She mostly needs help with walking to toilet, making sure she is clean, warming up and serving her meal, and generally keeping an eye on her. Also support in walking and regaining strength. About the care needs: They need to be patient as my mom has dementia and forgets easily. She will ask the same questions over and over some days. She is a very kind person and generally amenable to having caregivers in her home. Services needed include: companionship, feeding, walking to toilet/safety and bathing / dressing.
