Help needed for my mother in her 70s - seeking part-time hands-on care. Mom has MS and is in a wheelchair. An electric Hoyer lift will need to be used to transport her to and from her wheelchair. Completely verbal and otherwise active. We would prefer someone who can handle light housekeeping (kitchen and 2 bathrooms). Assistance with bed bath is one of our requirements. Additional responsibilities include breakfast meal preparation. Preferences for a caregiver who is a non-smoker, comfortable with pets (medium size non-threatening chihuahua mix) and knowledge of how to handle and clean a catheter bag. Changing of incontinence underwear. Minor wound care sometimes needed as well, such as ointment on blisters. Times are somewhat flexible.
