About who needs care: I was diagnosed with a neurological disease and epilepsy about a year and a half ago. I experience debilitating symptoms, which prevents me from driving. This has completely changed my life. I lost my work and independence. I am recently struggling with depression and anxiety. I want to do things out in the world and have assistance with basic things that now feel very hard for me About the care needs: I need someone with direct honest communication skills. I can explain exactly what I need and can also share what happens if I have a seizure and what to do. I need someone who can remain calm and be supportive and solid. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, and light housekeeping.
