Responsibilities: * Perform safety checks on residents. * Give bathing assistance. * Give dressing assistance. * Give feeding assistance. * Assist in resident hygiene management. * Offer medication assistance, if properly trained. * Escort residents to/from meals, activities, etc. * Clean rooms as necessary. * Complete resident laundry as requested. * Chart and document appropriate information. * Assist with residents' dietary needs, including preparing meals if necessary. * Ensure safety and health of all residents at all times. * Complete Incident Reports as necessary. * Report all health, safety and sanitation concerns to supervisor. * Report known or suspected elder abuse as required and described in SOC 341A. * Provides and leads resident activities. * Communicate with residents. * Assist in resident emergencies, including calling 911 when necessary. * Participate in initial and ongoing training as required by DSS and H&S Codes. * Trained in First Aid and, if required by the Facility, CPR trained as well. * Training in Resident Rights as described in the LIC 613C-2 updated for 2016 laws, including but not limited to no retaliation in response to resident complaints. * Other duties as directed by the Administrator or Licensee.
