About the job
We need hands-on care to take care of my Father in Long Beach. He's very gentle and kind man but does suffer from dementia. English is his 2nd language. Experience with managing and administering medication is required. Please be willing to do light housekeeping. Assistance with bathing is one of our requirements. Responsibilities include feeding. We're looking for some help preparing meals. Duties include providing companionship and social interaction. We ask that you handle transportation as needed. Preferences for a caregiver who is a non-smoker and CPR / first-aid trained.
