We're seeking a compassionate, patient caregiver for our mother, who has Parkinson's and dementia. She needs gentle, attentive support. Responsibilities: • Meal plan, prep, & cooking for the household • Medication and feeding assistance • Changing and cleaning (she is incontinent) • Listening and responding to her needs (she speaks softly & slowly) • Transferring to and from bed/wheelchair (approx. 100 lbs) • Light house cleaning • Weekly or bi-weekly family check-ins Our father also lives in the home, is wheelchair-bound, and needs occasional help with his portable commode, medication reminders, and nap preparation. He is fairly independent, helpful, patient, and mainly looks over and advicates for my mother. Showering is handled by existing caregivers. We're seeking additional support primarily for my mom and meal support for both.
