About who needs care: She was recently hospitalized for all of her heart arteries being clogged and now has stents in every major heart artery. She has recently started dialysis treatments three times a week. She has a fractured upper spine injury from a recent fall and has not been able to carry her own weight to walk, go to the bathroom, or complete any other physical standing tasks. With assistance, she can sit upright and has been receiving physical therapy in hopes of walking on her own again. About the care needs: We are looking for a caregiver who is honest, respectful, empathetic, and has the ability to help with physical/medical tasks. She is a two-person transfer, she is incontinent, and overall needs total care. A caregiver who has a medical background and speaks Spanish would be preferred. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, feeding, bathing / dressing, and mobility assistance.
