I'm Kevin, I care for my elderly mom full-time and now seek a live-in female (mom's preference) to help. She has narcolepsy and sleeps about 15 hours a day and is a fall risk. When she wakes up she needs to be assisted with her walker or wheelchair to the restroom or to the living room safely. She has dementia which fluctuates so you have to have a lot of patience and to remind/help her when she needs to change her pull-ups. Basically, I sit around all day chilling waiting for her to wake up. There's a camera in her room and a monitor that I keep next to me so I know the moment she wakes up. That's pretty much the job if you can call it that. We'll find a schedule that works for both of us. For a kind, loving, spiritual, gal who truly loves to help others there's a room, board and negotiated weekly salary. Must like road trips!
