About who needs care: My father has moderate Alzheimer's. He likes to walk, play golf and read. He is physically healthy. He needs to eat regular meals and bathe. My mother has dementia and is getting more difficult as the days get longer. They both would like to have some social interaction with others and need help getting around town for appointments and events. They enjoy attending church each Sunday. About the care needs: My father likes to be engaged in intellectual conversation, even though he may forget what was discussed within the next few hours afterwards. Someone who can handle difficult people. Someone who can drive. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
