About who needs care: I have arthritis, use wheelchair, able to transfer self but could use help going to doctors offices with going up small slopes although can take care of it with others if unable to help with this, need laundry-light housework including bathroom cleaning and kitchen cleaning only as have time--main thing is help with laundry and if time can help with other chores as listed. Stuck in a wheelchair with severe osteoarthritis, cognitively intact but forgetful and with notes do excellent, need help with dumping trash with stool in it all other toileting do independently with NO help, on County IHSS which pays 18. 75 an hour but I dont think its enough so will pay 2$ an hour extra to add to hourly wage from IHSS and I talked it over with IHSS county workers and it is OK to buy worker a pizza or anything else the worker wants as a gift (tip in my words), any day of the from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. is fine, unable to do nights or eves, prefer 5 hours twice a week but can do a 4 and a 6 in a week or even an 8 or a 10 once a week or however want to split it up with negotiation, house rules are that no one leaves the front of condo into the hall or back bedrooms without assistance, laundry work like taking out to onsite laundry and doing all the heavy work with assistance from us, drying and folding laundry, must be vetted by IHSS and interview over phone with me for about an hour then a trial work period, only fair to have a 15 minute paid break every 2 hours, need someone to make me a cup of coffee and sit for awhile, Im into politics and upset with what Feds are doing to California Fresh under our President, going to also contact WPCS for company and companionship, dont need to agree with my politics but understand sign in window"DUMP TRUMP!" if needed I understand dont want talk about politics , everyones political views are private if want, people can vote in private without anyone knowing their vote About the care needs: need a caregiving provider who respects me and also I will respect them and their boundries or limits, lets talk and negotiate what can and cannot be done by provider, only 10 hours a week is available for my care from outside provider Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, and mobility assistance.
