I need a live-in home care provider for my mother who is 73 and is bed-bound with a colostomy bag requiring changing over the course of the day and requires diaper changes and wound care. Important - experience with managing and administering medication is required. We would prefer someone who can handle light housekeeping. Assistance with bathing is one of our requirements. Responsibilities include feeding. We're looking for some help preparing meals. Looking for a caring and compassionate companion. Preferences for a caregiver who is a non-smoker and CPR / first-aid trained. This is a live-in position where there is a separate room and bed available. We are waiting on a colostomy reversal surgery but do not have a definite date. In time, we expect her to be more mobile as physical therapy progresses.
