Looking for weekly Sunday respite care for a senior with dementia. Provide simple meals, toileting care and light clean up. Our routine is very streamlined. We need someone who can follow the routine once a week for either morning, evening or both. Will only consider women due to the person's comfort. Strongly prefer someone in the Santa Cruz mountains, due to the drive. Check bathroom needs, clean up as needed, give her meal, clean up. Turn on TV or music. We're looking for someone comfortable with someone with dementia. We're very gentle and compassionate with her. She is sensitive to anyone who is stressed or angry. Comfort with changing depends and clothes. We live in the Santa Cruz mountains. It's not easy to get to if you don't live here. It's a rustic, mountain home with a steep driveway. You can park in the driveway.
