About who needs care: He has kidney failure. Just needs meal preparation, clean up sheets each morning, laundry each day, turn on oxygen tank when needed, transfer from room to room (bedroom to living room and vice versa) once a day. He spends afternoons in the living room and mornings and evenings in his bedroom. Needs help with channel selection sometimes. He is very pleasant, but physically weak. Meals will be easy to prepare, just warming up/heating up and blender use. Family and neighbors are nearby for extra help/emergencies. I will be out of town. I am his 24/7 live-in caregiver/daughter. overnight included 01/4/2026-1/09/2026. I am paying $1500 total for 10 days. About the care needs: a quiet, serious and mature person. He needs peace and quiet with some pleasant conversation when he is up to it. Just turn on the oxygen tank which is easy to do. He likes to watch soccer on ESPN. I can show the caregiver how to get to those games. He knows when they are. He will ask help getting to the streaming channel. Ideally a Spanish language speaker or Armenian language. He speaks English but feels more comfortable in Spanish. English is slipping a bit, and he gets frustrated trying to find the words. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, and mobility assistance.
