Help needed for my mother who is 89 and in very good health. She does have short-term memory loss, but other than that, she is very independent. We are seeking companion care and prefer someone who can handle light housekeeping. Duties will include walking daily, local and light errands (groceries, etc.), laundry, light dishes, helping around the house. Preferences for a caregiver who is a non-smoker, comfortable with one large older dog, and CPR / first-aid trained. I will check references and will want to interview you. Consistency is most important, so I do not want someone who will cancel or change our schedule, unless there is an emergency or circumstance that warrants it. I am looking for someone each week that is on time and consistent. Also ideal is someone who enjoys being with an elderly person as a companion.
