About who needs care: My mother uses a wheelchair and needs assistance a few times a week with showering, taking out the trash to the curb once a week, disposing of household trash, sweeping and mopping, as well as doing laundry including loading the washer, moving clothes to dry, and taking them out once finished. About the care needs: My mother has NMO, which has left her paralyzed from the waist down. She is in a wheelchair. Shes mostly independent and can manage about 90% of her daily activities on her own, but she does need help with certain tasks like showering and taking out the trash. Shes a very kind person, so someone with a gentle and caring personality would be a great match. She speaks Spanish and some English. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, feeding, and bathing / dressing.
