About who needs care: My grandmother is still very independent. She loves playing piano, reading the Bible, sitting in her sunroom, watching tv, and cooking. She has Congestive Heart Failure, but is very healthy and active for her age. She uses a walker and a cane to help her get around, just for her balance. She wakes up early each day and has breakfast, enjoys watching Jimmy Swaggart on the TV, and then relaxes most of the day. About the care needs: I am looking for someone who is patient, kind, and trustworthy. My grandmother is a devout Christian, so someone open to talking about God and Christianity would be ideal. My grandmother is a very strong, determined woman who needs company. She has very strong beliefs and can be a bit bossy at times, so the caregiver will need to be understanding and kind. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, and companionship.
