Both Elle and Ed run their own businesses, so we value having a reliable and independent housekeeper who can help keep our home running smoothly. Our lifestyle is active and wellness-focused - we love to travel, cook, spend time outdoors, and be with family. We maintain a completely non-toxic, fragrance-free home (including bedding, soaps, detergents, and cleaning supplies) and appreciate an organized, tidy space. We're looking for someone proactive who takes initiative, can keep the home in order, and finds solutions where needed." Family of three in Westlake is seeking a Housekeeper who will care for their home, as well as assist with meal prep, in order to be able to focus on their family time when they are off work. Duties include: Daily maintenance (making beds/changing sheets, ironing, laundry, cleaning kitchen, dishes, counters, sweeping, vacuuming, bathrooms, emptying trashes, etc.) Deep cleaning of the home (refrigerator, oven, baseboards, dusting, mopping, polishing, windows, fans, outdoor patio, garage, etc.) Prepping basic family dinners following easy recipes provided by the employers Create a schedule for daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, annual tasks, and keep a running list for one-off projects (e.g., outside windows, organizational projects, cleaning fans and chandeliers) Restock supplies and keep a list of items that are getting low, let employer know if there are any issues/repairs needed Additional family-specific duties: Package handling - receive deliveries, break down boxes, return items to UPS/FedEx Organizing & maintaining storage spaces - pantry, fridge, closets, garage shelving, et Weekly fridge clean-out / wipe down Water indoor plants / outdoor pot Clean coffee machine Feed pets & refill water Wash dog bowls weekly Restock soap, toilet paper, etc. Family travels for up to a month at a time. Housekeeper will be asked to help with the following duties: Deep cleaning projects Organizational projects like pantry or closet Check on house daily - move trash cans, check mail Water plants Feed dogs (ideally help in the evening with feeding and bathroom break - not a requirement) Errands including grocery shopping before return to stock must-have items Candidate must be: Experienced in cleaning high-end finishes and furnishings Professional, detail-oriented, and highly organized Comfortable with cooking basic meals Proactive and able to work independently A resourceful problem solver Reliable and punctual A hard worker with a can-do attitude An excellent communicator Discreet and respectful of the privacy of the employers Comfortable with dogs - the family has two Danes (large) who are mostly outdoors and will just need to be fed Both employers work from home.
